Project description
Our name was put forward to Shaun and Lana by Alice from Rubix Architecture based in Raglan. Shaun and Lana live very busy lives working in the Sail GP circuit. Lana travelled back to meet with Dan and a few other builders and was able to strike a chord with Dan whereby Lana and Shaun gave us an opportunity to build their home. This home has some many cool features and is completed to a very high spec. Hydronic underfloor heating, Lossnay, Gas fire, flare fire to name but a few. The site was steep and took a while to get out of the ground but as its set above an olive grove reserve that falls away in front of their view they will never be built out on. An interesting point to note, Lana and Shaun only came back to visit the project 3 times during the build and a lot of the quick communications and visuals were pretty much run on WhatsApp with photos, videos and voice message updates being sent back week to week.
